I am still so proud. Now I see why Christians consider pride as one of the seven worldly sins and Buddhist monks teach against self-pride. As long as you are proud, you can never be in peace with yourself. I am very peaceful outside but I've never been truly in peace with myself, in my heart and mind. As I am lonely by nature, it's a hidden pain.
